What is DISCIPLE-U?
DISCIPLE-U is a Bible-reading group and Bible-reading plan, designed to help you grow in your knowledge of God. You will journey through the Old Testament, beginning January 1, and the New Testament from October 1 through December 31, using the same plan together with thousands worldwide, too.
It will entail daily Bible-reading and a corresponding daily
podcast titled “The Bible Recap with Tara-Leigh Cobble”
(total time required: 30 minutes per day).
There's also an optional weekly small-group meeting, happening Wednesday nights on Zoom, 6:30-8:00pm, to enhance the
journey. You learn better about God and the Bible in
a community with others. You can attend every week,
once a month, or jump in and out as your schedule allows.

If you turn to any chapter in the Bible app, you'll notice a PLAY button (see photo below) at the bottom of the Bible chapter page - at the bottom of the screen (be sure to choose the Bible translation you prefer). Just press PLAY and allow your app to read to you! (WiFi may be required) It allows you to listen and take notes, make highlights, etc. Each day's reading takes about 15-20 minutes with the app reading to you.
Here’s what the screen looks like:
